Summer is just around the corner, and if you've been thinking about summertime fun, you're not the only one. The staff at Audubon Connecticut's three centers in Greenwich, Sharon, and Southbury have been working on creating a host of exciting Nature Camp offerings for Summer 2019.
Collectively situated on more than 2,000 acres of land, our centers serve as vibrant community hubs that provide opportunities for fun nature exploration and education. Studies show that spending time outdoors not only benefits our health, but it also benefits our minds as a calming and engaging environment conducive to learning. Plus, with science set as a high priority within today's school curricula, hands-on outdoor lessons can translate into improved learning in the classroom. And let's not forget...nature is pretty darn cool. Early, positive outdoor experiences create memories that last a lifetime and the land stewards of the future.
