Natives are for the birds! Literally. With fall upon us, we're still able to plant something that helps provide juicy caterpillars, nectar, and/or berries for our beloved backyard birds for years to come. Join local native plant expert and champion, Mike Nadeau, and Sharon Audubon Center Naturalist, Bethany Sheffer, in a discussion about the need for natives in our landscape, and how exactly they support our local bird populations. Afterwards, peruse Sharon and Falls Village-based native plant growers' selection of native plants to start your bird-friendly garden! We're proud to feature Michele Paladino of Lindera, Bernadette Grey, and Beth Romaker from Matt's Landscaping.

All participants will leave with a packet of resources that include a listing of local native plant nurseries, how-to guides, and more!

  • Fee: $20/participant
  • Suitable for ages 13+
  • Pre-paid online reservations only.
