Celebrating Black Environmentalists: Past, Present, and Future

February 25, 2021

Join Audubon Connecticut and Audubon New York for a special online presentation to celebrate Black environmentalists in honor of Black History Month. We will share stories, contributions, and achievements of various historical figures to conservation efforts and science. We will discuss the lasting implications of their invaluable work, including the bird species and wildlife that have benefited from their efforts. The highlight of this program will be hearing from students who will share information about their current research and efforts in conservation today, and their goals for the future.

Presented by Audubon Connecticut, Audubon New York, Greenwich Audubon Center, Montezuma Audubon Center, Sharon Audubon Center, and Audubon's For the Birds program.
