Birds, Beverages, and Small Bites: A Policy Potluck
Join us at Bent of the River for an informational evening with light refreshments. Bird populations are declining and we will discuss the factors impacting this decline. Our world is facing climate change as well as a biodiversity crisis. Learn about nature-based solutions that can help address these crises. There are ways that people can get involved and help locally. Robert LaFrance, Audubon Connecticut's Director of Policy, Denise Savageau, Chair, CT Council on Soil and Water Conservation, Alicea Charamut, Executive Director Rivers Alliance of Connecticut, and Amy Blaymore Paterson, Esq., Executive Director, Connecticut Land Conservation Council will present on how the restoration and maintenance of natural habitats can help the current biodiversity crisis and mitigate climate change.
