Beaver Moon Hike

November 19, 2021 - Southbury, CT

Register

Join Bent of the River Audubon Center for a slow-paced moonlit-night hike. An expert Audubon naturalist will lead you on an engaging walk along the Pomperaug River and through the meadow and woods to our Cedar Fields Trail. Get ready for a full immersion into nature as we switch off our flashlights and walk by the light of the moon, listening and looking for signs of nocturnal wildlife.

Please wear appropriate footwear. Participants must bring their own headlamp or flashlight (though we hope we won't be needing them).
