Join us for a weekly toddler-kindergarten program on Tuesdays after school! From 2 pm - 3 pm, Greenwich Audubon Staff will read a story about one of our native species on the property in the learning center. Afterwards, your kids have the opportunity to have safe animal interactions with some of our very friendly animal ambassadors, including a Box Turtle, Tree Frogs, and a Corn Snake! Our program then concludes with an outdoor nature walk and scavenger hunt, to a different location in our gateway to nature each week. Returning families across multiple months will have the opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at how each of these locations and ecosystems change month to month as the seasons change! Kids aren't the only ones participating though, adults and caregivers joining us can also learn how to help facilitate learning experiences with their kids out in nature.

Registration is $30 per child, adults attend free! RSVPs and signups in advance are required, and you can register here!

Greenwich Audubon Center is a vibrant nature education center located at the main 285-acre Audubon sanctuary in Greenwich. We are a part of the Audubon Connecticut state office of the National Audubon Society and Atlantic Flyway, and steward a total of seven sanctuaries in the Greenwich area. Our mission is to protect birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow. Visitors are welcome to enjoy our miles of trails, nature programs, education resources, conservation-themed events, and nature store throughout the year.

We support a diverse and inclusive environment, and welcome individuals of all races, physical and mental abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, and perspectives. We work with families to modify programs for accessibility where possible.
