Climate change constitutes the greatest public health challenge of the 21st century. Consequently, climate change mitigation (i.e. urgent and steep reductions in greenhouse gas emissions) is absolutely essential to protecting our health and that of future generations of conservationists. On this webinar, we'll review:
- The many ways that climate change harms our health.
- How human activities that cause climate change, such as the burning of fossil fuels, harm human health.
- The disproportionate harm caused by climate change to low-income communities and communities of color in the US, and indigenous and poor communities and nations around the world.
