Welcome to the first Yellow-crowned Night-Heron camera on the web (as far as we can tell)! This wetland bird species is one of Audubon Connecticut's official Priority Bird Species, meaning our actions, over time, can lead to measurable improvements in its status.
Community scientists take note: The Audubon Guide to North American Birds says the breeding behavior of this species is not well known.
