Celebrate the spectacle and mystery of migration at one of the best places to see migrating wild hawks in New England - Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT! This park is recognized as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society.

8:00-9:30 am Bird Walk led by Chris Loscalzo
8:30-11:00 am Bird Banding Demo w/ CT Audubon Society
9:00-10:00 am Hawk Flight I.D. Workshop (with the CT Ornithological Assoc.)
9:30-10:45 am Children’s Bird Walk (led by Flo MacBride)
9:30-10:45 am Bird Walk (led by Mike Horn)
9:30 am-3:00 pm Monarch Butterfly Tagging in the Butterfly Garden
11:15 am-12:15 pm Live Raptor Show (with Horizon Wings)
9:00 am & 1:00 pm Lighthouse Point Tours (1.0-1.5 hours)
12:15-1:15pm Live Bluegrass Music (by ‘5 in the Chamber’)
11:00 am-2:30 pm Ride the Historic Carousel
1:30-3:00 pm Falconry Demo (by Skyhunters in Flight)
