Environmental Leadership Awards Benefit

Hats Off to the 2018 Conservation Champions

Thank you for Experiencing Nature with Audubon Connecticut!

We greatly appreciate your support and wish to express a heartfelt thank you to those who were able to attend our 2018 Environmental Leadership Awards Benefit dinner on April 26, 2018, those of you who bid in our Online Auction or gave donations, and those who support Audubon in many other ways. Your contributions are critical to advance the conservation work we do on behalf of birds, wildlife, and people across Connecticut.

It was an honor to celebrate the 2018 environmental champions—B. Holt Thrasher and Ted Gilman—at this year's dinner with good food, good company, and great conservation! The evening featured the four pillars of our work at Audubon—nature education, science, conservation, and advocacy—as well as an entertaining dinner program with special guest—producer, director, and writer Rob Burnett, and auctioneer extraordinaire, Lydia Fenet of Christie’s Auction House. And of course, inspiring words from both of our honorees!

Because of your support, the event was a resounding success! Thank you again for supporting our efforts to help raise much-needed funds to advance the four pillars of our work at Audubon—nature education, science, conservation, and advocacy. Together, we will preserve Connecticut’s great natural heritage.

Please continue to explore our website and discover our Centers and Sanctuaries in Connecticut. We hope to see you soon!
